On this site I hope to provide information on the families connected in any way to St. Tammany Farm, Bracey, Virginia. Much of the information was collected over the years by my great-grandmother and grandmother, Hazel Hallock Palmer MacAlpine and Verna Palmer Bracey. Later on I hope to also provide for people some of the genealogical research that my grandmother, Verna, had collected on other families, in the hope that it will help people to learn about their family's past.

Right now we have genealogies on the Bracey, Hicks, and Simmons families of Brunswick and Mecklenburg Counties of Virginia. The Conklin, Hallock, Odell and Palmer families of New York state. And the Gilbert and Sheppard families of Saltville and Hopewell, Virginia. And coming soon, the genealogies of the Lambert family of Brunswick and Mecklenburg Counties of Virginia and MacAlpine, Mapes and Wines families of New York state.

We also have some histories on Fred Waters, brother of Jane Waters Odell; Otis Palmer's boat yard in East Moriches, Long Island, New York, and soon Altamont Hart Bracey's store in Bracey, VA.
